Puzzle Colors

The colors assigned to my puzzles just serve as a indication of the difficulty. The order from easiest to most difficult is:

  • Red
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Purple
  • Black
  • Silver

This follows how puzzles were rated in the Perplex City ARG. Originally the puzzles were broken into eight sets with four cards of each color. The easier cards were more common while the silver ones were the most rare.

You may have also noticed that my puzzles have little pictures in the borders. These pictures identified the set that the puzzle belonged to in the Perplex City ARG. Since I’m keeping with the Perplex City theme, I added my own. Currently I have:

  • Pi set
  • Atom set – More scientific type puzzles
  • Penrose set
  • Skull set – Halloween puzzles
  • Snowflake set – Winter holiday puzzles
